Director of Liturgical Music
Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, Botkins OH

Immaculate Conception Church in Botkins, OH is seeking a part time director of Liturgical Music. The Director of Liturgical Music serves the parish as the principal musician, organist, and choir director aiming at praising the Blessed Trinity through the Sacred Liturgy.

 
Skills, Knowledges, and Abilities
• Must have a high degree of proficiency in the use of the organ as attested to by formal credentials and a personal performance audition.
• Should have a working knowledge of other instruments which might be used in liturgical music
• Must have skill as an effective choral conductor as demonstrated by formal credentials and/or a choral audition (rehearsal).
• Must have a knowledge and appreciation of the Church’s liturgical tradition as well as current liturgical practice.
• Must have a desire to promote the Church’s understanding of a sung/chanted liturgy.
• Must have the ability and desire to lead and sustain a program of quality congregational singing.
• Must have a good knowledge of quality repertoire available for liturgical music programs for adult and children’s choirs, organ, and congregation.
 
The applicant should have experience in preparing and accompanying Catholic Liturgical music and at a minimum able to pass The Archdiocesan Organ Proficiency Exam, or the Service Playing Certificate in the American Guild of Organists.

Director of Music
All Saints Church, Cincinnati, OH

All Saints Church in Kenwood is seeking a full-time Music Director. Candidate should have a degree in music, related field, or equivalent experience. Thorough knowledge of liturgical music and Catholic liturgy is critical. Proficiency in organ, piano, and vocal skills is required along with the ability to engage the entire assembly in song, as well as lead, teach, and inspire. Working collaboratively with the Pastor and Parish Staff, responsibilities include: planning, coordinating, and implementing music for weekend liturgies, school liturgies, sacramental celebrations, holy days, funerals and weddings; directing / coordinating multiple parish choirs of varied styles and age of participants. Regional Director of Music Ministry
Winton Wyoming Pastoral Region

WWPR is seeking a part time Regional Director of Music Ministry.
 
The Regional Director of Music Ministry serves the region as a musician/organist and choir director while coordinating liturgical music needs for the region with the other music ministers. Administration of annual liturgical music budget, including purchase of music, payment of additional musical personnel, copyright fees and permissions, and programs. Find subs when unavailable for Masses, Funerals, Weddings, etc.
This posting is intended to be flexible in order to accommodate interviews from candidates who may be interested in one of the options below:
• Option 1 – A music director to lead a 4:30 PM Saturday vigil Mass every week.
• Option 2 – A music director to lead a 4:30 PM Saturday vigil Mass and an 11:30 AM Sunday Mass every week.
• Option 3 – A regional music director to lead two weekend Masses and also serve as the regional director
 
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Music
• Experienced with both adult and children’s choirs
• Previous training on/or applicable experience using computer hardware and software required.
• Must have a high degree of proficiency in the use of the organ as attested to by formal credentials and a personal performance audition.
• Should have a working knowledge of other instruments which might be used in liturgical music.
• Must have skill as an effective choral conductor as demonstrated by formal credentials and/or a choral audition (rehearsal).
• Must have a knowledge and appreciation of the Church’s liturgical tradition as well as current liturgical practices and rubrics.
