St. Clement Church in St. Bernard is looking for a part-time pastoral musician to plan the music.
Responsibilities include: playing piano/organ for a Saturday evening Mass with cantor and a 9:30AM Mass on Sunday with choir; attend choir rehearsals (have been on Tuesday evenings); some availability required for funerals and an occasional wedding; available for Holy Week and Lenten Reconciliation Services; attend Worship Commission meetings; monitor the instruments regarding tuning, etc. and gain familiarity with the sound board; requires some flexibility for occasionally working with the musician for the Spanish Mass (e.g. Holy Thursday and Easter Vigil); Occasionally the children’s choir might sing a Sunday Mass; and, able to work with the celebrants for occasional requests for a song change.
Compensation based on each engagement as Archdiocesan guidelines suggest.

for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. We are looking for a
creative and energetic person to join our Fine Arts Department and
implement a comprehensive general music program for grades K-8. Our
campus includes a beautiful music room and a sufficient music budget
to design and carry-out a music curriculum that meets the Archdiocesan
guidelines and complements and supports the classroom environments.
The schedule includes approximately 20 hours (Tuesday 9:30am-3:00pm;
Wednesday 10:00am-3:00pm; Thursday 8:30am-3:00pm; Friday
12:30pm-3:00pm).
More hours and additional compensation are also available if a
candidate is qualified to lead and direct an after-school choir and/or
drama program as well as provide music for liturgical celebrations.
The ideal candidate will hold a valid teaching license or non-tax
alternative. Candidates must follow Archdiocesan guidelines for safe
environment training and pass a background check. Montessori
experience is not required.
